Dear Jess,
I wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for being such a good friend to me. I am taking all of your suggestions to heart and trying my hardest to create new healthier habits with the information you have shared with me. I believe you when you say that I will feel better.
I would love to stay up and chat with you so that we can talk about funny shows on television, the awesome and hilarious stuff our kids do, food and cooking, the stuff you learn about swine flu, and so you can give me more fantastic advice about managing my symptoms without prescriptions, but I am so exhausted that I can barely stay up late enough to put my kids to bed. The time difference is killing me! I’m hoping that this is also improved in the future and I can actually function after 8:00pm. OR, it’s a good excuse to move to sunny California. I’ll work on my roomie.
I also wanted to share with you some good news. After drinking what I fondly call my pond water for the second day in a row, I had a small window today when I was not only pain free, but I actually felt GOOD. It didn’t last too long, but it made me stop and take notice, and honestly it almost brought tears to my eyes. I was so glad that I didn’t miss it in the hustle and bustle of the day. It makes me see that there really is a light at the end of this tunnel.
You are a wonderful and caring person, and I feel so lucky that you have shared your genius with me. Thank you for being my researcher and friend. I appreciate all of your time and effort on my behalf.
With gratitude that is in no way stalkerish,
B.
PS. The kids said that you better quit recommending that they also drink the pond water. They don’t care how healthy they could be.
Ok, tearing up over here.
I feel incredibly honored I got a WHOLE blog post!
And, the fact that you had a window of feeling better (like your old self?) is a testament to you dear friend, for just going for it. Nothing in the world makes me feel better than helping others feel better. Glad I could be of service. I am happy to be your cheerleader! Hurray for pond water!!
