Today my family is dressed for America because at 12 noon, they announce the host city selected for the 2016 Olympics.  Have you heard how much we love the Olympics?  It’s true!!!  So we have been waiting on the edge of our seat for today to come.  FOR. MONTHS.

I know that it’s a touchy subject for some people.   Blah blah blah taxes, blah blah blah money, blah blah blah politics….  it’s the OLYMPICS!!!  I know that there are valid points which I choose not to recognize or discuss.  Because IT’S THE OLYMPICS!!!  A once in a lifetime opportunity to live in the host city (vicinity) of THE FLIPPING OLYMPICS!!  I do not care one lick if they charge $1500 for the tickets as everyone says that they will to see the opening ceremony of THE OLYMPICS, because it’s amazing just to have the opportunity to go….to the OLYMPICS in CHICAGO!!   So I will be sporting my USA t-shirt today and hoping against all hope that they’ve picked Chicago. FOR. THE. OLYMPIC!!! HOST. CITY.  Besides, who needs a ticket when you’ll be a volunteer?  AT THE OLYMPICS!!!
