So I messed up. I should have held off on Flashback Friday for a week or so. Today is my mom’s birthday, her 60th. I can hardly believe it, she certainly doesn’t look 60. And no one thinks she acts 60, for sure. But either way, it is what it is, and she truly is 60 years old today.
In honor of her day, I present you with the following photograph of my mom in full grandma mode. Circa 1997, with the first born grandchild in the backyard of the home I currently live in. Love is their eyes, they have been BFF from minute one. Literally.
