I am completely heartbroken to say that my husband’s one uncle, in his very small family, is not likely to make it through the night tonight.  I haven’t been posting much, because it has been a kind of difficult time since he suddenly and unexpectedly went into the ICU last week.  We have been holding out hope that he would have the strength and fight in him to come through this, but tonight received the shocking and upsetting news that his heart was failing and he had been revived multiple times only so that his family could get to his bedside.  He is currently on a DNR order in the ICU.  It is unlikely he will be with us much longer, leaving behind a loving wife, adult son, sister, great aunts and uncle, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many friends, colleagues and a community who care deeply for him.  He is fifty six.
