The neighbor throwing stuff into your yard got a good laugh! You can buy Grolsch beer that have the european flip tops, perfect for kombucha fizz. The class that I took with the expert fermenter collects them from people and washes them out really well. But, I found a place online that sells them (12 bottles for $27) which is a great deal. I bought them for making my lactofermented soda..which I think you should do next! Root beer or ginger ale is really fun :) xoxxoxox jess

She said it looked like I was about to drink a urine sample (aside from the scoby I just fished out and put back in the bottle). I told her not to worry about it and “go back to your desk, lady!” The people who sit closest to me probably wouldn’t be phased because they see it every day. Although you never know, this is exceptional in its loveliness. Ha ha.

Yes, I absolutely can buy it, for about $3.50 a bottle. I can brew it for the cost of some water, tea, sugar, and time on my hands! And it does look gross, but luckily you don’t drink that part. I know that it will be worth it in the end. I just have to get through the beginning… ha ha
